This is our very latest wheel design - and we think it's ‘revolutionary’ (see what we did there?) It’s called Grip.
Looking like nothing else on the planet, the 330mm Grip uses the very latest syliconic moulding and bonding technology to encase the deeply dished - and deeply attractive - satin black spokes with an ultra high friction, yet extremely tactile surface. Think of it as an I-Pod skin on a steering wheel and you’ll get the picture.
Using asymmetric spot drilled details and precision laser-etched graphics, Grip is even easier on the eye than it is on your hands.
Developed primarily as a drifting, track day and high-performance fast road product, Grip offers the kind of control only usually found when using race gloves on a suede wheel. Being more comfortable than even the softest leather, Grip also makes long cruises less tiring for the driver, thanks to its ultra-compliant surface. Having said that, we think it might find a few fans in the custom world too, thanks to its leftfield good looks.
You could buy it because it’s been tested by two of Japan’s leading drift teams - or you could buy it because it gives you pinpoint driver input.. But you know what?.. Just buy it because it looks cool!
